SHYC Return/Exchange Policy
We DO NOT offer refunds due to change of mind. If you are not satisfied with your purchase because the product is faulty or is not as described, please return the item(s) to us in the original condition* within 60 days. As long as the item(s) is in the original condition* (unworn, unwashed, not stained, unscented, unused, undamaged), simply send it back to us by post within 60 days of receipt of delivery. We are happy to exchange the item(s) for a different size / colour / style or issue a credit voucher or refund upon receipt, if the products are returned in the original condition* as stipulated.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us at Sydney Harbour Yacht Club. For your own security, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods and issues a tracking number to monitor delivery. Please remember to include the Returns/Exchange form below stating your full name and order number, and items included in the parcel. The form must be signed and dated.

If you require your exchange faster or you prefer to receive a different item, to hasten the process, we suggest you place a new order online and return the unwanted item(s) for a refund.

As soon as your exchange has been processed, we will send you an email letting you know that your replacement order is on the way.
*Original Condition – When trying on items, please keep items clean, unwashed, not stained/marked, unscented, and undamaged. Ensure that you are not wearing aftershave, sunscreen, a deodorant or any other skin/body product which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We may be unable to accept the return of any item that has been worn, scented, stained/marked, washed, used or damaged. The item must be returned in its original packaging for protection with the Return/Exchange form and a copy of the original invoice.
Quality Assurance and Faulty Items
Sydney Harbour Yacht Club places the customer at the centre of our business; therefore thorough checks by our Quality Assurance crew are carried out before any product is dispatched from our premises. If by some chance you receive a faulty item it should be returned within 60 days of receipt for exchange. Contact Sydney Harbour Yacht Club immediately if you believe you have received a faulty item. **Our limited 12 Month warranty on some products covers against defects in workmanship one year from the date of purchase. A valid sales receipt must be included to show your product was purchased within the warranty period.
Once your product is inspected and a defect is found due to manufacturer’s workmanship, we will replace your product with the same style or an equivalent style of equal value based on the purchase price.
This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by (a) negligence (b) misuse (c) abuse (d)repair or alteration made on the product, (e) accident, or other factors not due to defects in workmanship, or a valid receipt is not included.
